Kuji Sports emphasizes sustainable and eco friendly practices and materials at every stage of the design and production process as well as in the everyday administration of our company

Purchasing
  • We audit and select eco friendly suppliers that sign a sustainability declaration.
  • Advanced chemical lab in Kuji to control incoming raw materials for Reach norm.
Transportation
  • We promote local supply: 60% of the volume of our raw material comes from within 100km
  • Once transformed, our products have 50% more volume! We are located 1km from the port, almost 0 emission for FOB

Production Process

RECYCLING PRODUCTION PROCESS

  • We recycle as much production waste as possible and turn them into qualified products, thus minimizing the waste that goes into landfills.
  • Tooling shop: Metal separation, cleaning and recycling.
  • Plastic injection: Direct regrinding of the injection plugs back into the machine.
  • Extrusion and CNC cutting: PC raw materials regrinded to create a recycled Microshell.
  • Lab test helmets and semi finished EPS, PC, ABS (around 25k helmets per year) are separated and recycled into raw mat
    (ABS, PC, PP, POM, PA, EPS, Textile)
  • Grinding of the EPS liner into small blocks

NEW ECO FRIENDLY PROCESS

  • Water based painting – No chemical emission
  • Natural rain collector and water regeneration for EPS machine cooling
  • We stopped using polybags for in-factory semi-finished transportation in
    detriment of reusable textile bags.

LOWER CO2 OFFICE EMISSION

  • Solar panels supply all the electricity of the Office
  •  Only recycled paper is used and printing is reduced to a minimum
  • Green roof for insulation and 20% of company land is green
    to compensate the few CO2 emmission
